Water sprinkler

This is one of those shots that I find appealing in a different way from the typical action, frozen, well-composed poses. There is something very nice in the blurriness, the streams of droplets and the grey silky water.

Low tide

Today the tide was very low and there was a lot of activity on the beach. Unfortunately, it was drizzling most of the time and I had to keep the camera safe under the jacket.

The light

The light yesterday was bright and abundant. Colors were vivid and cheerful.

On the contrary, today was grey, gloomy and cloudy. I like the tense mood that the insufficient light and deep shadows bring to the photos below. You can almost smell the forest, can't you?

Two of the best shots taken with the old Fuji

Technically these two are among the best images I could take with the marvelous FinePix S5500. The exposure is pretty good and the detail is brilliant.

Experiencing 30D's performance for the first time

I have the habit of shooting at burst mode. 30D can save up to 5 shots a second. It feels like you'll never miss the moment again. Which, of course, is not true at all. In most cases you can just have more 'missed' shots. :)

Still the chance of getting the Moment frozen is higher. And it's so satisfying!
