Bar-tailed Godwits
According to Wikipedia "Bar-tailed Godwit makes the longest known non-stop flight of any bird and also the longest journey without pausing to feed by any animal, 11,680 kilometers along a route from Alaska to New Zealand."

Dragonfly in flight
I was quite excited when I succeeded in taking these photos a couple of months ago. The Dragonfly hovered in one spot for a while. Autofocus refused to work: the target was too small. Then I decided to try manual and surprisingly some of the images came out quite crisp.
