Feral marsupials follow-up
You can see clearly that these wild beasts arrived at their final destination in a good condition. Reports say that no one has been bitten by them so far and they are acclimatizing well.

Welcome Swallow
I was holding some Swallow photos hoping that I would get a decent 'in flight' shot and make a remarkable post. No luck so far. They are tiny, ultra fast and quite unpredictable. I find it very hard to follow them with the telephoto at 300mm.

Family portrait
I haven't posted colorful parrots recently and it's time to start correcting this. Mrs Galah is posing a bit back-to-front, but look at Mr Galah! and the way he looks at her.

More lovely Plovers
I know I haven't posted for ages... There are unfortunately many other not so interesting things that keep me busy these days and I have less time for photography and the blog :( Plus I haven't fully recovered from the flu yet :( :(
Masked Lapwing family. They have succeeded in breeding up one kid. Not many of the Plover couples around have been that lucky. In fact most of them failed to protect their babies.

Ain't this cute?
This photo was taken through the window and the resulting bg blur/bokeh effect is very nice.
