  1. All beautiful but the Heron is especially appealing! btw did you realize you have 3 birds and 3 very different eye colors? Nice!

  2. Hi Nickolay!
I guess you are settled in to your new home. Great photos, like Mick said, the eyes are amazing to see so clearly.

  4. Hi Mick,
    Great observation!
Mentioning the different colors of the eyes gives me an idea to try and find more photos with various eye colors in the old published photos and make a dedicated post. It should be fun!
    Cheers!

  5. Hi Dave, it's much warmer here during this season, but I must say I still miss Tasmania. It's been raining most of the time during past 2-3 weeks, so I didn't get many chances for exploring the neighborhood either. Looking forward to that!
    Best regards!

  6. Hi Denis,
    Thanks for the praise :)
I, too, thought that the heron was funny and was hoping to even get a crop of the head, but I wasn't close enough when I took this photo.
Btw the long breeding feathers on the back, typical for herons and egrets, are visible in this image.
    Cheers!

  7. G'day Nickolay,
Great work. Loved 'em all. You know you have a nice sharp bird shot when the eyes are shining.
