Eastern Water Dragon

Well... this is one of those images that just look good. The setting, the light and the actor – everything was right. I just had to carefully get closer, squat as quietly and as slowly as possible, compose and press the button. The rest was done by Canon.

    That's a beauty. I've always found it difficult to get close enough to our Gippsland Water Dragons to get a shot. If I manage to spot one before it sees me and disappears, there seems no way I can creep up on it. Reckon you've done well.
